Fruit driven on entry, the palate reveals a lovely fleshiness, with supple, sculpted tannins and sweet oak well integrated with the fruit. Highlighted by white chocolate aromas dusted in white pepper, feathered with Provencal herbs, the wine opens up to layers of black and red currants, anise, and espresso. Red fruits continue on the palate, creating a sweet, juicy mouth filling texture carried along by bright acidity, leading to a very long, persistent finish.
